We have developed the nicest fitting air ride kit for your 41-48 Chevy car. This kit will make your car ride like a car, not a farm truck. We have now come up with a 3-link kit that is the lowest profile kit on the market that is not a 2-link kit. This is by far the easiest to install as well. This kit has it all! The front crossmember bolts in to the OEM leaf spring hanger location; this lines up the front side of all of the suspension. The C-notch locates on centerline of the rear axle while both the upper bag mount and shock crossmember locate and tab on the C-notch. Everything is 100% T.I.G. welded. We use 1.500" DOM tubing for the links with Johnny Joint rod ends. The rearend brackets are CNC machined for a beautiful bracket that you can see from the bottom of the car. The kit will consist of provisions for exhaust, the diagonal link, the upper and lower links, c-notches, shocks, front crossmember, and all Grade 8 hardware to put it all together.
We can also provide you with a Moser Engineering Ford 9" housing with all of the bracketry TIG welded into place. These housing come at a total width from wheel mounting flange to wheel mounting flange of 59.5". We can go narrower depending on brake setups and your needs; please call for other specs. The axles that we provide are Moser Engineering 31 spline axles that are built to handle abuse along with a Moser Engineering center section that is one of the stoutest in the industry and comes standard with a Truetrac differential.
This works with all 1941, 1942, 1946, 1947, and 1948 Chevy cars.
This kit is designed around a 28" tire on 15"x5" wheel.
