Our transmission kit will replace your OEM K-member in your 1941 - 1949 Chevy car. By installing our kit you will get rid of approximately 2" of bulk underneath your chassis. If you are wanting your car to be low, you will want this! All of the hardware is countersunk to make it flush to the crossmember leaving the crossmember only a 1/4" below the frame rails opposed to the factory 2". Our lower plate has decorative holes cut out in it and when you install the top support plate it makes for a nice backer. You can paint these different colors for a nice effect or the same and it gives the part some nice definition. This crossmember is designed to allow you to bolt in several GM automatic transmissions like the Turbo 350, 4L60E, and the 700R4. By modifying the center drop out plate many others will fit too. Our kit comes standard with all of the necessary hardware for installation.

This works with all 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, and 1948 Chevy cars.
